Acellus World 2026 Bag Policy and Prohibited Items
To ensure the safety of all families, students, educators, and guests, Acellus World is implementing a clear bag policy modeled after major Kansas City venues like Kauffman Stadium and Arrowhead Stadium. This promotes faster entry, reduces wait times at security checkpoints, and maintains a secure, family-friendly environment.
Allowed Bags (one bag per person)
- One clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bag. Clear backpacks and clear fanny packs are permitted if they have no obscuring hardware, buckles, or decorations.
- One one-gallon clear zip-seal plastic bag (standard Ziploc-style).
- One small clutch purse or wallet (no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″, with or without a handle or strap) in addition to one of the clear-bag options above.
Exceptions (subject to inspection at designated gates):
- Medically necessary items or bags (clear or easily inspectable).
- Manufactured diaper bags (for infants/young children) – must be single-compartment and clear or easily searchable. All bags and items are subject to visual inspection and/or metal detection. Guests may be asked to open bags or undergo additional screening.
Non-clear bags, backpacks, purses, totes, or any clutch/wallet larger than the allowed sizes are prohibited. Mesh bags, tinted/clear bags with printed designs that hide contents, and seat cushions with pockets or zippers are also not allowed. We strongly encourage attendees to bring no bag at all if possible.
Permitted Items (subject to security approval)
- Small personal items in approved clear bags (phones, keys, wallets, etc.).
- Blankets or light jackets (carried over the arm or in a clear bag).
- Portable phone chargers (small, disconnected during screening).
- Medically necessary items (e.g., insulin, EpiPens, breast pumps and supplies).
- Service animals (properly documented; pets are not allowed).
Prohibited Items (not allowed inside the venue)
- Any bags not meeting the clear-bag policy.
- Weapons of any kind (firearms, knives, pepper spray, etc.).
- Alcohol, illegal substances, or related paraphernalia.
- Fireworks, explosives, flammable liquids, or aerosols (including mace, hairspray, or sunscreen in large cans).
- Large strollers or wagons (compact, single-child strollers may be permitted but are subject to inspection and may need to be checked).
- Animals (except documented service animals).
- Tobacco products, vaping devices, or e-cigarettes.
- Wrapped gifts or large packages.
- Any other item deemed unsafe or inappropriate by security staff.
Security Process: All guests will pass through metal detection and bag screening at entry gates. Refusal of screening will result in denial of entry. Policies apply throughout the venue, including parking areas and plazas. There is no bag storage available—prohibited items must be returned to your vehicle.
This policy is in effect for May 23–24, 2026. It may be updated for safety reasons. Thank you for helping keep Acellus World safe and fun for everyone!
