Acellus Academy will be holding two Graduation Ceremonies at the Acellus Conference Center, as part of the activities at Acellus World!

How to Participate in Graduation:
Reserve Your Seat
To reserve a seat, please purchase a ticket to participate in a ceremony as an Acellus Academy graduate. Guest tickets are available for family and friends to attend the ceremony. To ensure adequate seating, all attendees will need a ticket. Registration will remain open while space is available.
Complete the Graduation Requirements
To allow sufficient time for processing your diploma, we recommend submitting your graduation application 15 days prior to the ceremony (or earlier). If your graduation application is received less than one week prior to the date of the ceremony, you may need to re-register for a later date. Please contact Acellus Academy’s staff if you need assistance with applying for graduation.

9:00AM – Graduate Activities
(Acellus World activities ticket required: View Tickets)
– CAP DECORATING: Students can personalize their graduation caps with creative designs, messages, and decorations to showcase their achievements and personality.
– PORTRAIT TAKING: Capture the moment with professional graduation portraits to commemorate this special milestone.
– GRADUATION MEMORY BOOK MAKING: Create and personalize a graduation memory book while collecting messages and well wishes from fellow graduates to remember the day for years to come.
– CAP & GOWN PICKUP: Cap and gown rental is included with the purchase of a Graduate Ticket. Graduates may also choose to purchase a cap, gown, and honors regalia from the on-site Acellus Store.
11:00AM – Graduation Rehearsal & Orientation
Graduates planning to walk the stage MUST attend the rehearsal.
3:00PM – Graduation Ceremony
To walk the stage at the Graduation Ceremony, please purchase a ticket to participate as an Acellus Academy graduate. Guest tickets are available for family and friends to attend the ceremony.

Photo Swap
To participate, students should bring a stack of printed senior photos, approximately 4″ x 5.3″ to exchange with their classmates. (Similar to a high school yearbook.)

Frequently Asked Questions: Graduation Ceremony
+ How long will the ceremony take?
We anticipate the ceremony will take no more than an hour and a half to complete.
We ask that graduates find their seats at least 10 minutes prior to the ceremony to help us begin on schedule.
+ Do graduates need to attend the rehearsal?
Yes! All graduates planning to walk in the ceremony are required to attend the short Graduation Rehearsal so everyone feels prepared and the ceremony runs smoothly. Graduates will be seated in alphabetical order, so this will also be a great time to locate their assigned seat.
+ Does my graduate need to wear the cap and gown for rehearsal?
No, graduates are welcome to wear the cap and gown for the rehearsal, but it is not required.
+ Is it possible to purchase the cap, gown, and honors regalia on-site?
Yes, all of the graduation regalia will be available for purchase at the Acellus Store on-site.
+ What if my graduate wants to decorate a grad cap?
Cap decorating will be one of the fun activities offered at Acellus World! Graduates who would like to participate may purchase their cap (and/or gown) from the on-site Acellus Store.
+ What food options will be available at the event?
Enjoy a variety of exciting food trucks on-site, offering delicious options for both lunch and dinner!

+ What if we want to go out for a celebratory dinner?
Kansas City has many great spots to enjoy a celebration dinner! Acellus World activities will conclude at 5 PM, making it the perfect time to visit our on-site food trucks or head out to one of Kansas City’s restaurants.
+ Where will graduate portrait sessions take place?
Along with the other graduation activities, there will be a dedicated booth in the Exhibit Hall where graduates can have their portraits taken. Graduates will want to be sure to have an Acellus World Activity Ticket to participate in all the fun sessions and activities. The Exhibit Hall will be open both days, from 9AM-5PM.
+ When can we pick up the cap and gown rental?
Cap and gown rental is included with the purchase of a Graduate Ticket. Pick-up will begin at 9 AM. Graduates must return the rental by 5 PM or choose to purchase the gown.
We recommend not wearing the gown while eating, as stains may result in a dry cleaning fee upon return.
+ What time does registration open?
Registration opens at 8:00 AM.
Early registration will also be available on Friday, May 22, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. View the full schedule.
+ Can we attend both days of Acellus World, or just the day of the ceremony?
Yes! Graduates and their families are welcome to attend both days and participate in all the activities leading up to or following their ceremony. Be sure to have your Acellus World Activity Tickets to join in all the fun!
+ Will the ceremony be live streamed?
Yes, at the time of the event the Commencement Ceremony will be streamed live for any friends and family that are unable to join us on-site.
