There are several steps involved in creating an Acellus course. First, you must generate a list of concepts or topics which will be taught in the course. Each of these topics or lessons should be videotaped, with each lecture limited to a single concept.

Next, questions or problems regarding the concepts should be prepared to test the student’s comprehension or understanding of the topic. A minimum of ten questions or problems are required for each topic.

The lessons and the problems are then uploaded to an Acellus Courseware Development Server. The server converts the video into the format necessary for the Acellus Educational Network and uploads the course over the Internet to the Master Acellus Library. Revisions or enhancements to the course are uploaded to the Development Server and then published automatically over the Internet to the Acellus Master Library. In this way, an Acellus course can be improved and enhanced each day.
