Patrick Mara teaching:
Acellus Pre-Algebra for Special Education Students was developed to provide these students with a basic introduction to algebraic concepts. We recommend that this course be given to students who have successfully completed Acellus Essential Math for Special Education Students.
Acellus Algebra for Special Education Students teaches students the basic principles, rules, and operations of working with expressions containing variables. We recommend that students complete Acellus Pre-Algebra for Special Education prior to taking this course to ensure that these students have a strong foundation of basic mathematical principles upon which to build.
Acellus Fundamentals of Mathematics (FunMath) is an NCTM standards-based pre-Algebra course designed to provide a strong foundation of basic math concepts in preparation for Algebra.
Algebra I is an NCTM standards-based course that teaches students the basic principles, rules, and operations of working with expressions containing variables.
Acellus Geometry is an NCTM standards-based course that presents students with a basic understanding of Euclidean Geometry in which the properties, measurement, and relationships of points, lines, angles, surfaces, and solids are studied.
Acellus Algebra II is an NCTM standards-based course that provides students with a more in-depth understanding of algebraic concepts.
In Acellus Trigonometry, students learn about the relationships between the sides and the angles of triangles and how to make calculations based on them using trigonometric functions.
This course is specifically designed to prepare students to take the math portion of the ACT or SAT college entrance exams. Problems solved in the videos lectures and those given to students as practice are patterned after the ACT/SAT exams.
Acellus AP Calculus AB is a course that is recognized by the College Board to meet or exceed the expectations of colleges and universities for this subject. Students completing this course will be able to take the AP Calculus AB Exam to earn college credit.
The AP Calculus AB Exam Prep course presents students with problems patterned after those used in previous AP Calculus AB exams. Representative problems are first solved within the video lecture. Then, similar problems are given for student practice and preparation.
Nancy Arroyo teaching:
Fundamentals of Mathematics Spanish (FunMath Spanish) is an NCTM standards-based pre-Algebra course taught in Spanish with the English math terminology incorporated into each lesson.
Algebra I is an NCTM standards-based course that teaches students the basic principles, rules, and operations of working with expressions containing variables.
Joan Sherwood teaching:
Acellus Essential Math for Special Education Students has been prepared to give these students the fundamental building blocks needed to gain a basic understanding of mathematics. Integrated into this course is a specially-developed math drill that helps students to master math facts. Students completing this course will be well prepared to take Acellus Pre-Algebra for Special Education Students.
Acellus Essential Math I gives students the fundamental building blocks needed to gain a basic understanding of mathematics. Integrated into this course is a specially-developed math drill that helps students to master math facts. This course is recommended for students in grades 5-9.
This NCTM standards-based course is the second in a two-part series covering concepts needed by all Middle School students. This course is recommended for students in grades 5-9 prior to taking pre-algebra.
Mr. Frogan and his "heroes" teaching:
In this NCTM standards-based, animated course, Acellus Algebra’scool provides students with the basic principles, rules, and operations of working with expressions containing variables.
Acellus Math’scool is an animated course designed to develop conceptual understanding of Numbers and Operations, Geometry, and Measurement topics as proposed within the NCTM Curriculum Standards for the middle grades.
Sweetie Lips with Tobler and Beek, teaching:
Acellus Reading takes a whole new approach to teaching students how to read. It follows the adventures of animated characters, Tobler and Beek, as they discover the basics of reading. It incorporates the scientific methods of teaching reading - developing phonemic awareness, concept imagery, basic expectancies and sight words.
